Falcons Club Baseball
The purpose of the Bowling Green State University Club Baseball program is to play competitive baseball against quality opponents while representing Bowling Green State University with pride, honor and good sportsmanship. We are a fellowship of student-athletes united by our love of the game. Through the sport of baseball we shall form lasting bonds, which will be carried in our hearts and memories beyond the campus boundaries. A member of the team is defined as anyone selected through tryouts that has paid the necessary dues and fees determined annually, maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher, and that also meets the University’s membership requirements. Tryouts include three days of hitting, throwing, running and fielding drills. New members are chosen by the team’s preseason captains and then extended an invitation to join the team. On average our season consists of 30 to 35 games and practices are usually scheduled 2 to 3 times a week. All players are expected to put in the necessary time with their studies while balancing the necessary time to stay in game shape and committed to our organization.
