Fundraising

Each year at the end of October, the BGSU Club Baseball team travels to Sandusky, OH and participates in a team fundraising activity at Cedar Point Amusement Park. The trip consists of two days of working for food services, ride services or gaming. The team spends the night at the dorm rooms provided by the amusement park on Saturday night and we finish our work late Sunday night. This has become one of the most memorable trips that the team takes each year and it is a great bonding time for the first year players to get to know the upperclassmen. |

Each year the BGSU Club Baseball team also takes part in the My Sports Dreams fundraising campaign. The My Sports Dreams fundraiser is a letter campaign that each player is responsible for filling out 15 mailers to family and friends asking for donations to help the team. In return for donations My Sports Dreams offers coupons and discounts on great everyday items. All the fundraising money goes for helping the team with travel expenses, field costs, umpire fees and equipment expenses. |
