Research

My name is Nikol Wiener and I am a Master's student at Bowling Green State University. Right now I am the only graduate student in Dr. Huber's animal behavior lab. He mostly focuses on crayfish, but we have expanded to complex behaviors in dogs, which is the basis of my thesis.

I was born in Toledo, Ohio and thus haven't moved far from home. However, traveling has broadened my horizons and thus I have become interested in cheetah behavior research in Kenya or Namibia.

I am getting married in May 2007 and plan to take a month off to go to Yellowstone National Park.

My Master's degree is just a stepping stone to veterinary school which I will apply for this coming summer if everything goes according to plan.
