The acronym CHI in CHILabs usually stands for computer-human interaction or interface.
Perhaps it is too constrictive.
After all, computer applications are not the world. Getting around in the world entails many other critical interactions.
Most everyday tasks require an interaction of a device and human to complete a task. One element cannot complete the task without the other.
Most of the time the device is not a computer.
Maybe "concept-human interaction" is better?
Perhaps I should not worry. The site name is appealing to approximately the same usability audience.
Besides, I am very interested in the interactions of computing machines and humans on both the small task and societal level.
