Jones, M.  (1998).  Holy Toledo:  Religion and Politics in the Life of "Golden Rule" Jones.  Lexington, KY:  University of Kentucky Press.   Golden Rule Jones was mayor of Toledo around the previous turn of the century and is well-known as a progressive reformer.
