My name is Ken Hayes, and I am currently a first year Doctoral student in Bowling Green State University's Rhetoric and Composition program, where I work as a graduate teaching assistant by teaching General Studies Writing. I spent 5 years at Wright State University, where I earned my BA and MA in English Literature. While at Wright State, I taught English 101 and 102 as a graduate teaching assistant and was a co-founder of WSU's first conference on multimodal composition in the Spring of 2011. |

My primary research interests include film and literature, multiliteracy studies, and multimodal composition. In my free time I enjoy reading 20th century literature, watching movies, photgraphing things that catch my eye, playing frisbee golf, and spending time with my wife, Blair (though not necessarily in that order). |
