Chuck essentially runs the West Hall television facilities. His expertise is not necessarily with computers, but with video and audio equipment. He has played a large role in building the West Hall facilities, and he also plays a daily role in the maintenance, operation and upkeep of those facilities. Chuck’s expertise is not duplicated by our other staff engineer.

Chuck also plays an important role interacting with students. He oversees the equipment room, including the process of checking out equipment. With the diminishing availability of students to man the equipment room, he has been increasingly called on to handle equipment check out. He also performs "spot" repairs on equipment and makes sure students have what they need to do their projects. Chuck’s ability to interact with students in a friendly, professional and helpful way cannot be overstated—this is an extremely important element in what he does.
