The Mixed-Methods SIG was created in 2004 to provide a forum for educational researchers interested in conducting, designing, teaching, and advancing issues related to the appropriate mixing of quantitative and qualitative methods in research. As a SIG of AERA, our primary focus is in educational research, although we recognize and welcome contributions and members from diverse fields outside of education.
