Research Interests

Currently I'm working on my thesis at Bowling Green State University under Dr. Karen Root.

My project is focused on the potential effects of deer browsing on the wild blue lupine (pictured right) and the oak savanna ecosystem within the Oak Openings Region of northwest Ohio.

My field sites are in Oak Openings Preserve Metropark (owned by Metroparks of the Toledo Area), Kitty Todd Nature Preserve (owned by TNC) and Meilke Road Savanna (owned by ODNR).
