Generally, I find FrontPage to do a very good job of moving the right files to the right places, something I have had trouble getting Netscape Composer to do. I also find it much easier than using Dreamweaver. For instance, FrontPage allows you to easily paste in graphics that you are trying to copy from elsewhere, unlike Dreamweaver 4 (as far as I can tell).
Some web pages (html files) come with additional folders full of files, such as image files. FrontPage does a good job of publishing these folders along with the main web page.
FrontPage has one problem that I have found. If I use an FTP program such as Fetch or WS FTP to rename or create a subdirectory on the web server that has a space in its name, then try to publish to the directory using FrontPage, FrontPage tells me
This is ridiculous. I just used FTP to create or rename the subdirectory to have a space in its name. The limitation is not due to the FTP server, but to FrontPage itself, I think. Anyway, what I need to do is to use an FTP program to Rename the directory to have no spaces in it, or else delete it.
